Spottswood Robinson III helped dismantle Jim Crow segregation, playing a key role in Brown v. Board of Education and Morgan v. Virginia. A former Howard Law dean, he became the first Black judge on the U.S. District Court for D.C. and later, the first Black chief judge of the D.C. Circuit. #HUSL

A woman sea captain, an homage to a chef lost at sea, studio space for women architects. Like all of Orkney, the gallery called ‘Ship of Fools’ packs a lot into a tiny space. Captain Maiwenn Beadle pays tribute in this haunting, eye-level exhibit called “Lost at Sea”.
