Oh, yes, I'm very much aware of that. And in this case, it will not be a 'charity fee', as in, it will at some point need to become my living, but I also don't want to be outrageous in terms of Deloitte ridiculous fees for example, which is just criminal (even though some people pay it...)

I haven't yet defined, this is all very new to me, so I'm doing googling my arse off to try and find what is a reasonable amount given the circumstances/sector/etc.

But I was really glad they asked first and perhaps this was the kind of push I needed, like if one person pays...!

This. Although every single one of them deserves to be scammed.

I'm waiting for my Portuguese builder to show up later today (he communicates scarily well via whatsapp and lets us know actual times and follows up), but the builder mumble is universal....! Don't mind dealing with them, just getting to understand everything they say is a challenge :D

Any country that needs the charity sector for anything more than additional support and encouragement is a broken one anyway imho. Calling yourself civilised but having an air ambulance and crucial health research (physical and mental) run solely on donations is such a stretch.

We had the advent calendar a few years as well. But have now got one from Letra here, should be good!

Still. There are many UK breweries I miss!

Hang in there. Was tempted to just stay in bed too today. Or, well, rather, just not show up at work and go and work outside instead...

Glad you did manage to get out eventually, and the weather looks lovely!

Yeah... we all know that rich people and their horses are more important than the lives of the plebs....
