Pet peeve: organizations that put out statements with just the organization name. Put an actual human name on it even if it’s just the ED or Board Chair on behalf of the organization. If there isn’t a human attached to it I don’t think it’s worth very much.

So the Board Chair is the former CEO of Canada Life and the Granite can’t figure out a parking use agreement with Canada Life to facilitate an affordable housing project? 🙃
If there is one thing Tessa Blaikie Whitecloud knows, it’s that tackling Winnipeg’s homelessness crisis requires support and ideas from all corners of the city.

Are we in a customer service death spiral? Everything from my bank to CRA to getting a quote from my insurance agent seems to take multiple tries or hours on hold to get anywhere.

Just a guy on his way to curl at the granite in front of an ocean of surface parking that is empty virtually every weekend and evening and hoping adults can figure out how to share.

Cancelled my Globe subscription because I barely was reading it and one thing I love is when newspapers (or other services) make you phone and talk to someone for 10 minutes to cancel a subscription that you can sign up for online in 10 seconds.
