Absolutely missed #MushroomMonday if there is such a thing. Caught up with these slick beauties near Kennedy Creek while on a walk to see the incredible final journey of our Pacific Northwest chum salmon.

Concrete walkway stones are in place now with lots more to do by way of succulents and drought-friendly grasses, but I'm quite happy with how the path itself turned out. 😀 Weighing in at almost 30lbs a piece, my brawny husband did most of the heavy lifting, while I did digging and wiggling them in

Deliciously cool weather in #Orkney with very little wind even at the beaches this week 😎 The upper tour at St Magnus Cathedral was absolutely stunning, a bit more challenging than I expected - must wait for the husband to share his pics, since I forgot my phone! #WalkAbout

The only thing I'd choose to include in my #Orkney travels (but cannot) is this guy. My heart squeezes a bit missing him. Luckily, he is being cared for by lovely people back home 😊

We are absolutely loving #Orkney. Getting more comfortable driving, after a few miles behind us - visited Scapa today and Stromness. Beautiful day to be out and about. Thanks to all the locals who have been patient with us here! #WalkAbout

We are here in #Orkney after a long trek and layovers, and we were welcomed by a beautiful sunset, as well as incredibly helpful staff at Kirkwall Airport, and our taxi driver who waited for us as our plane was delayed an hour! 😍 I can't find the words to say how happy I am to be here

We are here in #Orkney after a long trek and layovers, and we were welcomed by a beautiful sunset, as well as incredibly helpful staff at Kirkwall Airport, and our taxi driver who waited for us as our plane was delayed an hour! 😍 I can't find the words to say how happy I am to be here
