I miss the good ol' days 🥲

Haha, you're going to have to tell me more about that some day:))
Honestly, i think it's mostly the hotd fandom that doesn't know how to behave, so yeah, you never know:)

I'm really sorry, but I just lost all motivation:(

just because it's readily available. You're right, if it weren't for fanfiction a lot of writers nowadays would not have gotten a chance to make their voices heard, and it's just sad to see it treated this way.

Writing is still enjoyable mostly because I want to be heard, above everything else, and the market doesn't influence that because i'm not doing it for money. "Free labor" isn't really the right expression, it's more about the time and the emotion invested in something that is taken for granted

people putting spoilers in bookmarks, people demanding a certain outcome to the story, and the increase in bots and scam comments. I've been writing fanfiction for fun, and when something stops being fun, I am the type to walk away. I'm too old for this shit:))

Oh i didn't know that. Bear is urs in romanian, but brown bear is always urs brun and never urs maro:)) makes sense

So I'm guessing it's also Latin based.
We also have the word brun but i've only heard of brown bears being called that

The chestnuts are called castane, and there's also the word castaniu for a warmer brown. It's of Greek origin, then borrowed by Latin. I'm not sure where maro came from, but french also has it and it's a lot less red than the english equivalent
