Claim charts?! See, I hoped that some of these tools would call themselves “AI” but then just use standard automation for things like that which don’t require an LLM. However, after watching a demo presenter feed a search-and-replace task to a chat interface, I’m not so sure.

I seriously have no idea why you’d hire Pat Fitzgerald. He wasn’t a playcaller or strategic mind, his whole schtick was selling Northwestern Culture because he played there, and then it turns out that culture featured a brutal atmosphere of sexual hazing

Food stands closed, beer stands closed, only half the security lines open, line for merch wrapped half way around the stadium… did they not tell the arena ops people that they sold 16K tix to this??
Anyway, I imagine we’ll have shorter lines when we’re back on Wednesday!

And how is this different from any other inventorship issue? It’s not like the PTO investigates whether inventorship is listed correctly. The only reason Thaler was reviewed was that he was like, “hey, guys, please notice that I am listing an AI as the only inventor!”

What is the deal with filing CIPs like this? I am working on a portfolio where former counsel did stuff like this and I don’t get it at all. They’re giving up patent term to claim priority to a case that is (1) already prior art and (2) doesn’t support the new claim anyway. Am I missing some upside?

For what it’s worth, my mother in law has a bunch of clothes and coats and stuff at our house that she doesn’t need at home so she doesn’t need to pack it on the plane. It is not unheard of!
