Actually this set-up was fun.
I still feel like I’m running out of ideas.

Long history of weird little guys being weird with bones pre-internet
In 1190, Hugh, Bishop of Lincoln, himself destined to be canonised one day, visited the abbey of Fécamp in Normandy, to venerate the monastery's greatest treasure, an arm bone of St Mary Magdalene. The relic was duly produced, sheathed in silk, but Hugh sliced open the wrapping, to see and kiss the bone. Then, to the mounting horror of the monks, he tried to break off a piece, and when that failed, gnawed at it, first with his incisor and then with his molar teeth, at last snapping off and pocketing two splinters. What he had done, he declared defiantly, had honoured the saint as Christians honour their Lord when they receive his body and blood in communion.

A wrap for my mom! It’s about 1/3 of the way done. I’ve already gone through 3-4 skeins of yarn. Post work eats up a lot of it!

Francis’s friend lost her grandfather yesterday and so he made her a card this morning, which I think is so sweet.
I always appreciate and am a bit amused by how his deep empathy comes out as pragmatism.
Also he was trying to say “may his memory be a blessing” but accidentally mixed up the words.

My neighbor grows the most stunning dahlias. She won six blue ribbons at the county fair for them. Every day their beauty thrills and inspires me. I felt like drawing one. It’s far from being as perfect as the dahlias i walk past every day, but I’m pretty pleased with it. Idk if I should color it.

It’s my last day of part 1 of maternity leave so I made CJ watch David Tennant’s Macbeth with me and our own Prince of Cumberland.

We then went out to lunch to discuss it.

Ok so a few months ago, Florence invented me a secret boyfriend named Jamison who is taller than CJ, with brown eyes, black hair, handsome, and he is a firefighter/scientist.

CJ and I have kept up this joke sporadically, and today:
