it's very plausible that the fractures in the right will, short term, lead to a loss in the 2026 elections. i think i believe that will happen. however whether that leads to *any good results* is different and depends very much on what the democrats do after taking one or more chambers of congress.

As a side note, people should be prepared to provide mutual aid to working folk who cannot get through to call centers to resolve fraud complaints and other issues caused by card issuer error, during this campaign.
