My personal favorite had to be this sign with an elaborately made cardboard cybertruck crashing through the constitution. Top shelf stuff here.

Seeing Indian films in theaters here has definitely shifted my perspective on this… I certainly appreciate being able to focus on the finer details in a film, but there’s something special about seeing an audience get excited and to me that’s part of the magic of theaters.

My Spotify Wrapped is almost always the usual suspects + whatever random thing I happened to fixate on that year… so here we are again. No regrets.

5. Mad Max

The main thing that matters is the artists. I don’t care how much a movie costs as long as their labor is rewarded. $10 million? $400 million? It’s whatever as long as the artists get paid… but we need to figure out how to make this sustainable for everyone.

We just had two Hollywood strikes that prove the artists aren’t getting paid here either despite the massive budgets of American films. The people doing most of the work still aren’t compensated, and I get why that makes talk of shrinking budgets scary, but there’s so much waste.
