I grew up in LA in the 1960s. It hurt to breathe on a lot of days. I lived a few miles from the San Gabriel mountains and we could not see them. By the 1990s, it was so much better.

Thanks for posting. I have inflammatory bowel disease -- sx since I was a kid, dx in my 40s. Only diagnosed when the dz tried to kill me. 25 years later I am still standing.
