The painting that gave me the confidence to leave academia & start an art business. I worked on it in 2022 while I was still a postdoc. Just finished painting a mini version of it & have submitted it to a local gallery “small art” exhibition. I find out in a couple weeks if I get accepted🤞

I like to do Easter eggs with LEGO builds using spare parts from the sets. Saturn V has Jeb on top of the LES tower, and Discovery has a spare tire on the mid-deck. Eventually I’ll find a way to sneak something into the Architecture and Botanical sets.

I know many people are tuning out of spaceflight because of Elon Musk, however instead of turning away entirely, I encourage you to look beyond SpaceX at the rest of a truly incredible industry. So much of what is done here benefits everyone, and I hope you look to that instead of look away.
