Unfortunately, the exports from both Literal and Storygraph were either not complete or the import failed for some of the books on Bookhive's side.
But nothing a session with Claude Code, some data wrangling and atproto shenanigans couldn't solve ;)

I think it all comes down to educating people about it and having a good UX. Rn, I mostly see techies using custom domains as a handle.
I hope that's changing soon, because having globally unique handles across all social networks would help massively with verifying authority.

Just a tiny example but I like how ATProto uses DNS as a verification system which imo increases trust very much.
e.g. when I see the @nytimes.com, I know it's really the NYT.

I love the IndieWeb but apart from Webmentions, there isn't really a built-in social component that works across websites. ATProto definitely has the potential to change that :)
