272. Limp Bizkit - Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavoured Water

Contender for worst album title of all time. Have fond memories of this one from 6th form days, had completely forgotten about the anti-Trent Reznor opener though. Weird.

271. Amen - s/t

Not sure if this is nu metal either. Doubt I'll make it all the way through...it's a bit "ooh aren't I scary"

Obviously I'm team "the richest should pay the highest share", but that's an additional conversation, I think.

So I'm learning that it's a technical term...but as a soundbite in a radio headline it's sounds pejorative.

The sense I always get from reactions to this kind of news is that people think that crossing a threshold means their entire pay will suddenly be liable to the next rate.

*little bit of cheeky old school Bond there, for the dads.

To be fair, I did not understand this until my late 20’s.

If I was paid £50,270 and got a pay rise to £50,271 then I would only pay 20p more income tax than before.

That is still in the top EIGHTEEN PERCENT of the UK population.

Sure, more tax should be applied to those with obscene wealth, but hearing the phrase “people will be dragged into a higher tax bracket” on BBC 6Music has boiled my piss this morning.

At the worst I’d say it tastes like a slightly crap pint of Guinness. If I’m drinking it without really paying attention, while out/doing something else, then I hardly notice. So good.

Haven’t ever seen it on tap though.
