Before I noticed, the decay had set in. I’m working against an advanced condition armed with an internet cure (scientific), and beyond that hoping really hard. Thanks ND

The histories teem with parallels. And, I spend quite a bit of time in them, noting nothing is new under the sun: simply permutations.
That’s a lonely road sometimes: history and civics and the glazed over eyes of our fellow citizens. But, it has always been thus.

I’ve had these thoughts so many times, though none so well expressed. For quite a while, I’ve tried to imagine how ppl live and breathe and just go on in authoritarian regimes.
