Yesterday I attended a recording studio crawl hosted by the Audio Engineering Society. What an inspiring day! I saw spaces for recording podcasts, audiobooks, bands, and mixing film scores. Even a Foley pit and some high end Atmos setups. What a great day

Finally got to bike the new closed section of the Great Highway near Ocean Beach. Gorgeous! I love the art and how inviting it is to pedestrians, bikers, roller skaters, kids, and adults…everyone.

I watched some people play Ice, a competitive game about exploring and retrieving artifacts buried under the ice. The board game is 3D and you reveal buried layers under the ice by removing tiles.

I demoed Moon Bunny, where you are rabbits jumping around the moon, fulfilling individual and group goals to earn points. The same company was showing a dim sum game as well

Vantage is a game I came so close to picking up. Coop, you and the other players are exploring a planet. As you move around the planet you visit locations and communicate what you see to others by describing beautiful paintings of what you can see. Lots of strategy and replayability

The Skyrim game is based on the Too Many Bones engine. It has some exciting ways to customize your character and I loved the “fatigue” dice that take up spots in an ability cooldown area

i recently went to the Voorlinden museum in The Hague. There was an exhibit where the artist made her childhood home out of marshmallows. Everyone got a marshmallow as they entered.

If you use iMessage for private communications, you should consider enabling Advanced Data Protection and setting an account recovery key. This ensures that even if Apple is hacked or forced to turn over data stored on its servers, your messages are not readable.
