The Syrian government’s official media claims that “pro-Assad” groups are sabotaging fiber optic cables, causing regional blackouts. However, these areas were targeted at the same time, in a major security operation by Syrian forces, leading to serious violations against civilians.

We are nearing the end of a regime that has ruled our country with an iron fist for 54 years. This family’s brutal grip on power has led to the deaths of thousands of political opposition figures, caused the deaths of half a million people, and forced millions, including myself, into exile.

Syrian oppositions groups from #Daraa and #Suwayda are forming the southern operation room, to lead an armed efforts to topple Assad regime from southern Syria.

This bridge links both #Hama and #Homs and destroying it will slow down the syrian opposition advancing south toward Homs. It seems like the Russians are more engaged with Assad now to slow down the oppositions.

The Anti #Assad coalition took over the Syrian city of #Hama which is at the center of Syria. #HTS leader confirmed their next plans to advance to the city of #Homs which will be key to overthrow Assad, as #Damascus will be disconnected from the coastal areas of Syria where Russia HQ is located.

Well, this didn’t take that long. #ISIS fighters are taking pictures in front of #Aleppo citadel. It’s worth mentioning that most of the U.S operations targeting ISIS leaders including Albaghdadi took place in #Idlib where #HTS is in control.

#Aleppo has completely fallen, marking the end of Assad’s presence in the city and Northern #Syria. The speed of these developments is staggering.
That fact that it was Hezbollah and Iran’s support that kept Assad afloat for so long. Without them, his grip on power would have faltered much earlier.

The situation in Aleppo is dire a city trapped between Assad’s brutal scorched-earth tactics and a jihadist group with an oppressive vision for its future. Some of my best memories are tied to #Aleppo, and my only wish is for the safety of the millions of civilians who call it home.

Unless burned to the ground by Russian and Syrian airstrikes, #Aleppo could fall in just a few days. The speed of advancements in western Aleppo is staggering. This area, historically impenetrable for Assad’s opponents, has been breached in just a day and a half.
