I got an early Christmas present! My three daughters got me a dress form to help me with my sewing adventure.
Here it is with my pitiful little muslin on it. I think I’m going to start over. Yes, I’m using green fabric - its a thrifted king size sheet😀

That’s a great idea. I always use one of these when threading hand needles. Couldn’t do without it.

Well, wish me luck! I’ve decided to teach myself how to sew from a pattern. I’ve been reading the instructions, I’ve traced the pieces onto tracing paper, and now I’m just going to lay it all out and think about it before I start cutting.
I’m probably gonna start by making a muslin.

Finally! All the quilting done and the edges trimmed.
I made the binding this evening so almost ready for the final step!
I’m going to make a label for the back and put it on before I start attaching the binding.

Update! I finally got it all put back together and put the border on. The size is about 75 x 45
