The career development center in Jackson has been renamed the “Medgar & Myrlie Evers Career Development Center”. Some of the culinary studies students prepared all the food for the ribbon-cutting event. Beautiful!

“How to Become a Tyrant” popped up in my Netflix queue. So, I gave it gander. There are 6 35-40 min episodes narrated by Peter Dinklage who gives step-by-step instructions on how to, well, become a tyrant using historical tyrants as examples. You must watch. The one on Stalin shook me!

In times like these, I wish there were more safe spaces for cool freaks in the south. I went to 1 of my favorite burger joints only to hear table after table talking about the “violent left”. Unless you’re an LGBTQIA+, known progressive, or minority run joint, I’ll do take out.
