Not sure of the dates yet but emergency timetable on the SWR West of England line is likely soon due to shrinkage of the clay embankments much of the line runs on. Probably in place from end of July through August. #SWR #railway #rail

But are Reform really “making the political weather” as you, so uncritically say, Chris Mason, or are you making it for them by hyperventilating over each grubby little Tory-Reform-reshuffle, without *ever* properly scrutinising the howling failures of these deeply unpleasant, grifting clowns?

Latest OBR assessment: Brexit caused a 4% hit to GDP.

That's an astounding amount, the equivalent of more than £100,000,000,000 lost to Brexit.

There is a much better alternative.

There is an alternative to Government welfare cuts - a 2% tax on wealth. There is no shortage of money here, we just need a fairer approach to tax - take more from the few not the many.

They don't want to end profiteering, cash extraction, undeserved exec pay.

The French National Assembly has again overwhelmingly voted for a tax on billionaires, with even sceptical MPs from centrist parties acknowledging the need to capture wealth in taxation. Wealth among the very richest is soaring worldwide – we desperately need action.
