Trying to focus on the positive today, we have a nest of bluetits about to fledge.
Bees are all over our herb bed, and a collared dove has been calling.

Prynhawn da, afternoon all.
Very windy here but nothing like as bad as some places.
I‘ve made 18 pots of marmalade so far, and one more lot of oranges to go. When the world is going mad, such things are a comfort. Stay safe.

I cut a few corners yesterday, halved, poached, cooled the oranges, scooped out and sieved the pulp, and put the peel through a food processor. This morning I finished the marmalade and it’s good. 9 jars of tangy deliciouness!

Noswaith dda, evening all.
I stayed mostly off social media today, spent time with friends in the crisp chilly sunshine, & feel better for it. The world hasn’t all gone mad, just the villains who grab the handles of power.

I know how you feel, I can see 80 looming not all that far ahead. Take heart - here’s a nice thing daughter made for me, by Julian of Norwich.

I hope this is permissible. Do try this book, it’s worth it. Available on Amazon, paperback or Kindle.

I’m biased, being related to the author, but I recommend this book. Available paperback or Kindle, give it a go. 👍
