Farticle.
(good read otherwise, but I couldn't help but laugh at this)

I received this message on a subreddit I moderate. "Awarenauts"?! And why does these guys always have female-coded AIs?
If you want a guaranteed career get into psychiatry focusing on the male loneliness epidemic. It's about to *explode*.

I wouldn't normally buy the Valentine's special, but for £2 I'm not going to be fussy.

Did I get a Steam account just for Dungeons of Dredmor? Sure looks that way.

Hydra got blown down by storm Floris, but we stuck her heads in a vase.

My sunflower is a hydra! (It's also huge - a good half metre taller than me.)

From my daughter's secret diary. As a proud father I will of course fully support her career choices, and I suggest everyone else do the same lest they face her wrathful judgement.

Received this gem from @ramenjunkie.bsky.social and I'm rather surprised no one has done this before. It's nice to know the AIs will always break and betray the truth under pressure.

Just arrived at the Shetlands and saw a familiar boat name.

Someone posted this in the Fallout London discord and it honestly makes me quite sad. Too many players want to just follow the quest marker and shoot the red-highlighted thing. No reading, no thinking, just autopilot through things. They are no longer playing the game - the game is playing them.

What the fuck, Nintendo? Don't guilt trip me like this.

My board game arrived! Pretty happy with the print quality. Now to play test it some more...

A relevant Tolkien quote for our times.

Quite the eclectic mix of dates to be interested in.

Misty morning today.

UK Hello Fresh offer codes, should anyone want one (I quite like Hello Fresh myself, and they work out surprisingly economical if you get meals for 4 and freeze the leftovers).

My daughter says this is a game she's designed. I'm trying to decipher it.

There are reports that the suspect had a digital pet that it kept in a deprived state, leaving it hungry and alone until the battery ran out.

My new Protect and Survive t-shirt (from Jim'll Paint It) goes rather well with my Fallout London hoodie :)

Now my average is up to over 5.8, and keeps rising. My ratio of 5s to 7s is now 550/450, and I’ve given myself the challenge of getting the 7s above the 5s. Long term I might even get them above the 6s (not likely, but I’ll try).

What I love is that it allows very clever play, since guesses give info across rows/columns and you can think up words that straddle gaps to complete several words at once. It’s great! I play it lots. It’s quick but forces you to think and analyse. Nice to play whilst waiting on a tea to brew.
