If you know my work & like it, please would you consider recommending me to folk you know who might want to buy something from me. That's the best practical thing that could help us at the moment that we can think of.

Xmas deadline with me is Halloween for Xmas delivery at the best of times. - & this is far from the best of times. 2) Until the MRI, I'm going to be following the OT's instructions to the letter, so feeble as it seems, if a project needs any: 'bending, stretching, twisting, or reaching' or lifting in excess of 6lb, then that part of the work will not happen until after the MRI hopefully clears me. 🤞 3) Any highly decorative work (especially stitch work) will likely be much slower (if started before), as until we know what this thing with my arm is, I'm not overstressing it. - last thing to know is I was already part way through a pair of gloves for a 2yo from the knits for limb difference organisation I'm in, so everybody gets in line behind her because there's no way I'm leaving a little girl to cold hands a minute more than I have to. If that's acceptable to folks, then please drop me a message & we can talk about a quote." Then, under a wee black line to separate it is the footnote from the top of the post. It reads: "* For those who may have missed it: on 24 Nov spouse, my assistance dog & me were stationary in our car when we were hit from behind by an uninsured driver (who has likely written off the car). Both my assistance dog & me were hurt. Happy 4th birthday today to #AssistanceDogPierre & all his litter mates at #IrishDogsForDisabled

Pierre has always had big paws to fill as successor to Emma (who was the world's first full-time working assistance dog in theatre & film, while he's the 9th), but he's really maturing into a lovely boy

Not bad so far.
The sideboard I have been making from odds-and-ends of wood. It still needs doors, & edge treatments, as well as staining, plus I might do a marquetry top, but it's fairly sturdy.

There was sort of a light ground frost this morning. Winter's creeping in gradually.

We have company next week so the very first edges of our Yule decorating is just beginning.

Part of our customary Yule decoration beginning on one end of the altar: 3 hyacinths nested in newspaper over the top of jars of water. Here's a scary new low - was checking out an account that followed me overnight, because I suspected it. Found it 'interacting' (in a limited way) with this account, which appears to openly declare that it's a bot.

Have reported both.

Can't seem to get away from the ridiculousness even here!

Towards the right hand end of the second line, in English among the characters, is the word (in English) "bot". The next 2 lines are presumably a translation. They say (in English): "if you follow this bot, it will reply to your post and fully approve of you.

Applied to the County Arts Bursary to hopefully have a script development day in the new year on my wee film project with some fantastic professional actors reading the parts I hope they'll play down the line.

Slow & steady...

1) Straw change for hens.

2) Dead hen straw, this year's dead tomato plants, & the bales they've been growing in have gone into the back bed as a volume eating veggie layer towards the great levelling ahead of joining up the chicken tunnels for the girls (ideally by end of month).

Kleo just (loudly & proudly) with great ceremony, presented me with a lovely, still alive but stunned bat.

She's also not on her regular perch, but has changed sides studiously, to show me she's avoiding the sore shoulder.
