Your comment here re the "history of maternal filicide in the US starting in the Colonial era" and that "nothing much has changed in 350 years," reminded me of the exhibit in Hämeenlinna, Finland, of the former's women's prison. Most were jailed for "infanticide." Many women had kids in prison too.

It was a holiday weekend and the Sellwood Bridge Friday Night Protest had fewer people. That was OK. There was less traffic. Many local residents who show up week after week to say no the crimes of this regime and relentless lawlessness of this authoritarian regime came out. The spirits were high.

Today in Portland, I saw two worlds: those with the blessings of health and certainly money, enjoying their morning walks and runs in our beautiful Forest Park. On the way there and home I also saw our many residents who can't can't these blessing living outdoors. This day forces us to care. Good!

Well lookie here. The bloodthirsty vampires, I mean corporate executives, at Adobe want to gouge their customers who currently pay $10 a month to $15 month. It's vampire capitalism in its purest form. I never pegged @adobe.com to be anything less than greedy capitalists, just not the M*GA type.

Last week the administration released a #Putin surrender plan that it demanded #Ukraine accept by Thanksgiving Day. It was a chilly night, and dark, but Portland's Friday Night Sellwood Bridge Protest carried on! There were over 20 people who showed up. The week's chaos engaged hundreds and hundreds of drivers who were laying into their horns in support. People get this lift every week to keep fighting.

I'm finishing up creating some photo galleries of my latest trip to my favorite country, #Suomi (Finland). My time there reminds me why I love it. Funny I thought "Uncle Sam" was a government brand that promoted the country's fight AGAINST fascism. This probably is appearing in a LinkedIn feed near you. So yes, LinkedIn is making money from this expansion of forces focussing on detaining people in ways shocking many Americans and communities.

One of my 2 US Senators, Jeff Merkley, published this statement on his vote on the gov't reopening. In that vote, a faction of Senate Ds turned their back on Americans to restore tax credits for health insurance for millions. And no words re replacing Sen. Schumer as leader, as countless demand now.

A noisy Sellwood Bridge Friday Night protest. During the week, we saw a lot of activity with people being disappeared because they are immigrants and Latino, including coordinated arrests by masked agents of 24 people in the state capital, Salem, on November 11. Horn energy got louder near the end.

Have we already forgotten that more than 7 million people showed where power resides and what power means? We all know who the monster is and what this monster has done. I'm thinking now of nursing home closures that could kill a family member. YOU alone will save our country, NOT Epstein files.
