Just want to say fuck Donald Trump and fuck Stephen Miller and fuck Kristi Noem :-)
“The records show that Palantir is actively working on the technical infrastructure underpinning the Trump administration’s mass deportation efforts which could soon impact U.S. citizens.“
Palantir will be used to identify domestic Trump critics soon enough.

I swore an oath to the Constitution in 1986. I've upheld it through 25 years of service and every day since I retired.

If Trump's trying to intimidate me, it won’t work. I’ve given too much to our country to be silenced by bullies who care more about power than the Constitution.

Sean from The Real World Boston wants us to be wearing slacks when we take off our shoes and belts for the Security Theater Troupe because civility

Someone with real respect wouldn't have participated in the destruction of music programming on MTV, Sean
Sean Duffy: "Dressing with respect -- whether it's a pair of jeans and a decent shirt, I would encourage people to maybe dress a little better which encourages us to maybe behave a little better. Let's try not to wear slippers and pajamas as we come to the airport."

They're demanding, among other things, sewage removal and heat and electricity restroration.

Also she weasels out and moves the goalposts to motte-and-bailey herself

He asks about "members of the military and... intelligence community" and she focuses in on enlisted personnel. There's a lot of steps in between POTUS and Private Pyle where criminal orders are obeyed or not
BLITZER: I want to be precise. Should members of the US military obey clearly illegal orders?

McCLAIN: You're asking an enlisted person for their opinion on what they think is legal. That's a pretty slippery slope. Follow your commander in chief. That's the oath that you took

(Not a no!)

As much crap as I give NYT, they still do some great journalism in between all the sanewashing and apologism and bothsidesing.

Also they employ @jamellebouie.net and a few other good people whose work should have a prominent platform

And kinda terrible writer at least to my taste in political journalism (I won't pretend to be a literary critic in general)
It's still infuriating that Condé Nast fired a bunch of really good journalists but went out of its way to hire this walking ethical failure
Scoop: As questions swirl around Olivia Nuzzi, I’ve learned she’s been relatively absent in the day-to-day at Vanity Fair, as the magazine continues to weather the storm the controversial hire brought through 1 World Trade Center
