I think the Áras - an important place symbolically - is the perfect place to set an example.
Re the monoglots, there are many Irish speakers who are far more comfortable speaking in Irish than English.

English is the working language of the vast majority of the Public Sector. What would be so bad about Irish being the working language of the Áras? Irish speakers and native speakers are Irish citizens too, and many wish to use it in work. Why shouldn't they have opportunities?
