This sounds very usable. It depends a lot on the game and setting. For example, something like Exalted or Eclipse Phase, with very detailed and out there settings and theme, need very hefty section 1 and 2. Others, like "Generic Fantasy D&D clone number 57" don't.

I like all of those (with the possible exceptions of your friend's chickens and ducks).

I enjoyed Resurrection. I thought it was a rather clever take.
Then again, I do not mind Number 2 and 3 either.

Bad girls in SFF was my absolute favorite! Tasha Suri also was amazing in any panel she was in. I caught a decent amount every day, I would day :D
