I didn't use mine till I started seeing posts like Kendra's 3 or 4 years ago because my experience with dishwashers was from the 80s, when you'd use tons of water but dishes still wouldn't get clean (basically had to wash them before you load them). Now it's all I use, and it's great!

I feel like this is related to my inability to learn Spanish despite taking it 4 times. A phrase like "cuantos anos tienes" literally translates as "how many years do you have" but the lesson would say it translates as "how old are you." I'd be like "No it doesn't! I know anos means years!"

I do think this is a point of radicalization because a lot of angry, angry normal people were ready to dig in and suffer a lot in order to make fascists suffer a little, and their resolution was sold out and made into a mockery
