As for a quick update on what I've been up to lately: mostly destiny 2, but I did play through Ghost of Tsushima for the first time.

Actual game dev should ramp back up soon though.

working on [CLIMB] this past month as been really fun. i am very excited to finish putting this little world all together for people to explore.
this project formed mostly because i wanted to have at least one game for people to try, so hopefully it ends up being a good first impression

I am working on a game inspired by Dead Cells and Terraria, in Godot, called Eternal Descent.

wanted to make a follow up: Essence is the game's experience points and (since i can't help myself) it'll act like Souls. Enemies drop Essence, using the statue at spawn lets you level up your stats, and if you die you'll lose unspent Essence. Your leveled stats will persist between runs.

I have now added a leveling system to the game, outside of home-base upgrades, this will be the closest equivalent to meta-progression in Eternal Descent. The UI for it will definitely change as I add more stats that you can level with this system. #Indiegamedev #godotengine #pixelart #solodev
