Most factory teams (apart from Aprilia) have two test riders. Sava's future is, hopefully, having a wingman!

Not yet, not really

Totally so. I'm sick of saying that Dorna are bad storytellers. That's the first thing to fix

I've not looked at superbikes, but the fundamental difference is that they didn't unilaterally double the number of races a few years ago...
November 26, 2025 at 12:18 PM
I don't want more racing. That is the point. Sprints are bullshit
November 26, 2025 at 12:17 PM
I think the two fundamental factors are a) the doubling of the most dangerous part of any race weekend, the opening laps of the race, and b) the knock-on effect on the schedule, and the pressure that increases by (for example) turning Friday afternoon into qualifying (the second most dangerous time)

Wouldn't call it as desire as much as a necessity
November 26, 2025 at 11:15 AM
Because the most dangerous part of a weekend is the opening lap, and now there’s two of them. And because sprints affect the entire weekends schedule and create far more pressure and less setup time

They’ve sent the injury rate absolutely through the roof. I need to update this with 24 and 25 but they are much closer to 23 than the preceding years.

Sprint races, national anthem ceremonies, bus parades, Moto2 and Moto3 being cut back, documentary series: all Ezpeleta inventions, not Liberty
November 25, 2025 at 4:43 PM
This isn’t Liberty, it’s Carmelo. Like all the other missteps of the past five years

Trying to give the benefit of the doubt and say that it was an appeasing answer to a leading question, but still. Just shut that shit down. No one wants it.

As something of a fanatic when it comes to road races, there isn’t a single street circuit anywhere in the world that MotoGP riders would be comfortable riding. Not one. Even F1 quasi-road circuits like Albert Park are utterly impossible www.the-race.com/motogp/why-p...
Why Phillip Island's MotoGP future is in such jeopardy
Phillip Island's days on the MotoGP calendar look numbered. But what could replace it - and does F1's Melbourne venue have a shot?

Although I do find it funny that after a decade of slamming TT and claiming to be all about safety, he's suddenly on the bandwagon 😂

Thank you!
