Yes tho I prefer "Porky", as in "STFU, Porky!".

I've been concerned that the ACLU might be designated as a terrorist organization. If that happens I'm out.

"to fix the benefits crisis, they’re going to have to fix the long-term sickness crisis…".

I think the American plan is to let people die, it's auto-eugenics.

Better yet, eat no meat.
November 22, 2025 at 11:24 PM
This is consistent with auto-eugenics.

Through deportation and the elimination of public health and support republicans are actively working to reduce the population to straight, white, Christian, men (and just enough women to breed with them) who function as serfs suitable for industry and war.

I wish there were an ASCAP type of thing for internet posts that collected say a penny per view.

Or: STFU, Porky.

Trump: Texas must redraw its maps to be more racist.

Texas legislature: Ok.

Fed court: Nope, those maps are racist.

Ad hominem refers to several types of arguments where the speaker attacks the character, motive, or some other attribute of the person making an argument rather than the substance of the argument itself. This avoids genuine debate by creating a diversion... wiki

True, but we don't need them to vote D we just need them to not vote.

...or forget she ever existed.

How am I wrong? I get that you don't like it, I don't either.

But I tried hard to get Harris votes last time from people opposed to the genocide in Gaza and being reasonable (ie, explaining that Trump would be worse for absolutely everything they care about) didn't work. People vote emotionally.
November 10, 2025 at 11:05 PM
I'm not seeing any of that but I block with abandon.
If I find someone too off-putting I block and POOF - it's like they've never been born.

It's not their fault that the party has disillusioned them.

"Vote Blue No Matter Who" went out the window the minute party leadership failed to support the winner of a democratic primary. If leadership won't hold their noses and vote blue when it stings then they can't expect anyone else to do so.

Agreed. Please lead us.

Three: capitulation now versus <maybe> losing later is worse because now both democratic voters and MAGA fascists know that democrats won't put up much of a fight.
November 10, 2025 at 7:05 PM
If senate dems don't sacrifice Schumer soon they will lose any remaining far left support.
November 10, 2025 at 5:54 PM
Safeguarding the midterms will be more difficult now that the Senate's capitulation has disillusioned more democrats.

Also democrats will now be blamed at least in part for rising health care costs.

This was an epic failure.

I see that as obeying in advance. We should be making them fight for every inch. Also, republicans don't want to end the filibuster and for good reason.
