This Collective Shout bullshit has been boiling my blood this morning. Imagining all of the indie games that have been unfairly wiped from itch io without a single warning, some of which will probably be lost forever now, and unrecoverable. This is about protecting people, it's puritanical nonsense.

Just also to put it out there. This is not their first time trying to silence content they don’t like. They also tried to get Detroit: Become Human and GTA 5 banned. They will not stop at adult content.

Some Steam Adult games has been removed over "violating payment processor" it's because "Collective Shout" has been responsible for this mess that they force to tied Steam's hands off by adding these "New Rules" for stupid reason.

We're afraid that "Cloud Meadow", "Flipwitch", etc. well be Involved

Christ. Anyway as someone who's been openly loudly supportive of itch dot io and it's devs...well now is the time you go support the devs directly. Listen to them, and also if you sell on itch...set itch's cut to 0% until shit changes

so itchio has shadowbanned any games tagged with 'nsfw', 'adult', or 'erotic' so they don't show up in searches, and several devs have reported that their r18 games have been removed from the site with no warning

This and TotK's Rauru would go absolutely cosmologically hard
