YEAH like the assumption the biggest issue in a queer person's life will always be Validity and Assurance and not material concerns

i'm just tired of periodically seeing cis queers going "you really shouldn't encourage people to come out" when encouraging trans folks not to come out, i really cannot stress this enough, kills a lot of us

As we all know, nurturing your self loathing and punishing yourself constantly because you believe you deserve it makes you a very productive member of society and not at all likely to start lashing out, having unstable relationships, or doing violence. Surely this will solve everything.
