It's called 'appearing to do something while keeping all the back channels wide open.' At the end of next year what is the bet that there will be a record number of approvals for new mining and gas projects? Let's start a sweep now.

Heaven! Though I wouldn't want to seem greedy. I'd settle for another 20 at the next election. That is within the realms of possibility.

Me too. I would also like to see that forum replace Q&A on the ABC. The boss was talking about the need for town hall-like shows recently. I reckon it would be a ratings boon for Aunty.

I fear that the book would balloon to three times its size with sticky notes, there is so much meat in this book. I like the unobtrusive nature of pencil that can be erased. I'm a bit of a neat freak.

Yes but with considerable scrutiny over who funds them. No one expecting favours should be able to donate..

I voted for Flux the one time they ran. I always thought it was a great idea whose time had not come. They couldn't guarantee 100% security in their voting system IMO, but with new advances like quantum computing it could be the wave of the future. #Auspol

A nice idea but I'd still be watching who their donors are. If you could guarantee a fire wall between donors and policy, I'd be on board. In fact, that would be their biggest selling point, if you could do it.

No, I can't say I'm an expert but domestic abusers seem to exhibit similar behaviour to malignant narcissists. But there will lots of people who have more insight than me on the subject.
