Two friends from my hike on Saturday—one I see often (the nuthatch) and a new one (the very cute but not too happy spotted skunk). Tail is cocked and ready but fortunately it did not discharge 😂

Finished reading this last week. It’s hard to describe in words all of my thoughts and feelings about this. Such an important book. Such an important story. My heart aches for her and any girl caught in the world of sex trafficking. RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES!

Fall is beautiful. I love how the orange-red maple leaves pop against the deep blue sky. And last night election results were awesome, inspiring, and brought hope for the future. Things are looking up a bit.

It’s fall on the mountain top of Mt Lemmon in Arizona.
Maple leaves turned red. Yellow aspen leaves in the trees and scattered on the ground along the trail. Fall colors of red, orange, and yellow among the green pine trees. Oak leaves that have turned color. They are mostly yellow here with some green still on some. Also some orange/red and brown.
