Are war crimes considered an official presidential act? Asking for a disgusted nation begging SCOTUS to actually represent the people of the US and not fringe far right Christian Nationalists.

This is stunningly good reporting by two bylined reporters and six credited researchers, and it's undermined throughout by links to an "Ask the Post AI" that delivers insipid answers to its own contrived prompts under the guise of "More context on this article"

Admiral Frank Bradley might want to get a lawyer.
REPORTER: Does the administration deny that that second strike happened, or did it happen and the administration denies that Hegseth gave the order?

LEAVITT: The latter. Secretary Hegseth authorized Admiral Bradley to conduct these kinetic strikes. He worked well within his authority and the law.

So, now I am wondering if the pardon power is valid if it relates to acts that are part of a president's criminal conspiracy? If you cannot self-pardon (which is not certain but has been discussed), can you pardon someone committing crimes with you? Just wondering.
