Did the shift happen with the Beacon jams? Feel like we got a lot of FTP as TAB. Maybe those rehearsals and shows were enough to cement their place in the catalog?

Rick Rubin is one of those cats whose conversations I could listen to all day.

It’s also one of those where I think every version was my favorite. They just nailed it. Not that there weren’t fun jams from those down the road, but they never hit like that first time.

Love Loaded and RiL, but Thrilling Chilling is prob my top too. I remember there was a stream issue, so they ended up just doing the whole show for free to everyone. Watched it glued to the screen, wife already asleep and 30 days from becoming parents. Just cool with them facing each other also.

I’d flip the top two only because Halloween gets taken out at the knees by falling on a weekday or rainy night. Thanksgiving is locked in.

I’ve always thought the addition of Fishman to that Covid wrecked lineup helped lead him and Trey into my favorite tour of 4.0. Not that those two need any extra time to gel, just felt like a weird gift of an extra opportunity for another connection.
