At one point, my mental state was just "I could die at any point with this brain avm. Maybe I should just stop this". Now, it's more "yeah, I could and that's exactly why I want to keep making art"

All I hope is that someday... Hopefully soon, I could just spend my time making art

Twitter was a hell hole in many ways by mid-2024, and depression + a sudden, massive engagement drop made it all almost crash and burn.

I, and what I made, felt useless. I now know for sure that it's not true but this whole thing can take quite a huge toll on your personal well-being

Serious talk for a second here: if this year went down any other way, there's a good chance I'd be contemplating retiring from art on socials.

Being able, for the first time in my life, to show my work to complete strangers in person and see them like it/smile at it was a life-changing experience

It's a bit worrying/depressing at times, but I know there are people who like what I make which makes it all more bearable.

I am yeah! I'll try to see if I can contact friends/family as well; my sibling took care of printing the cards for Pixelart Park and I'm eternally grateful to them/their local print shop
