Just witnessed some batshit crazy football at the Arsenal where Brazil and Senegal decided that attack was the best form of attack. It was fun. The atmosphere was good. Nobody wanted to sit down (or in their own seat) 🇧🇷🇸🇳

Off to Leavesden for an out-of-town (but still within the M25) #parkrun jaunt and I find myself with 20 minutes to kill at Euston station. Eek! Where are you running, jogging or walking today? Wherever you end up, smile at a volunteer and keep up the good work 👍 #LoveParkrun

A good #parkrun today with my son - comfortably within 30 minutes despite a week of 'holiday' eating and bad habits 📱🖱️🤣 We were at Lordship Rec in north London - a pancake flat course in a lovely urban retreat. Thanks as always to all those who make the magic happen #LoveParkrun #Running

I bought a book from the table at the front of Waterstones, which can be a bit of a gamble. But 'The Land in Winter' is a unique, well told story of adult lives falling apart during the snowbound winter of 1962/63. Worthy of the hype. #BookSky

Regent's Park 10k this morning, brilliantly organised by Mornington Chasers. A crisp, clear morning. A bit of cross wind but otherwise near perfect conditions. 40 seconds faster than a month ago at 40:49 but nowhere near the heights of 2023 and '24. Still, great fun 😎
