Among other things, I write about college football for
Gator Country. US Navy husband. Known as Year2 elsewhere, but that's from an old blog I started in 2006 and it's been a while.
Stranger things have happened with that man specifically

A Texas coach shamelessly campaigning for postseason positioning? Feels like ‘04

Thanks for your thoughts. The people who think they know things say he’s going to hire new coordinators and not bring the current ones with him, which of true could expedite things (or blow up because it’s a new crew that doesn’t work well together)

He's also had to fire his own women's basketball *and* soccer hires for mistreatment of players, but then the governor's buddies rejected Santa Ono and Todd Golden won a national title and suddenly there was no way to replace Stricklin before Napier's poor performance forced a change

At least the pursuit of Lane was so public and obvious, we don't have to go through the charade of "this guy was our first choice all along"...

Which, that would give too many Napier vibes because Stricklin said he locked on Napier early and never seriously considered anyone else

A good real-deal OC could conceivably come later, but no one announces coordinators at the same time as a new head coach to bolster said new coach

Going to a defensive coach after four years of Napier's poor offense is a strong "I don't understand my own fan base" statement from the AD, even if he did go after Kiffin first

Phil Knight would definitely be endowing dozens of professorships if Oregon didn’t play football, everyone knows this

This was the Weber grills “Barbecued turkey with white wine gravy” recipe. It was outstanding, the most moist turkey I’ve yet made.

Weber’s recipes aren’t generic shovelware. They always hit.
