Philips Norelco says their new shaver is Powered by AI, and this is only slightly less dumb than the cartoon about AI peas. Presumably John's goal here is to have his face shaved, which he can either track on his phone, or using the more traditional technique of just look in the mirror, John.

If you didn't get your hands on Tillamook Butternaise, you can just mix butter and Kewpie mayonnaise in a little bowl before you spread it on the bread. It works great!

Millions of Americans protested and the only coverage on your homepage is at the bottom to cover Trump's pathetic AI response. Shameful.

I don't keep roosters any more, although some of my neighbors do. But back in the day, this gorgeous boy Kaʻeo looked after my flock on Maui. #chickens

And at Fall Festival I got to see an artist's work again that I truly love. Tom Walsh is a metal worker from Philomath who creates some stunning pieces. To me they evoke a kind of a 5th Element blending of futuristic sci-fi and very distant past.

It's really helpful how home depot shows you how tall an evil pixie is compared to a somewhat tall human. My money's on the pixie though.

I found this book at the library by the author of the screenplay for the movie Wag the Dog. I thought it would be interesting. It was not. Page 2: "Obama was a Marxist and Islamist opportunist." Oh lord. The bio: "He is the resident cartoonist for Bari Weiss's The Free Press." Of course he is lol.

Time to make some marinara sauce! We picked 3 1/2 pounds of cherry tomatoes today, and have another few pounds of tomatoes we picked in the last few days.

A pair of California Quail have been hanging around the house. I'm out in 98 degree heat taking blurry pictures of skittish birds.
