The state Parliament has apologised to First Nations Victorians. The apology stems from our Treaty. It'd be great if the govt could live up to its Treaty obligations, like consulting First Nations people on changes to criminal law that will continue to see them over-represented in the justice system

Such a change would only serve to entrench the old parties: Labor, Liberal, Nationals and Greens. It's bad for democracy and bad for our state. Here's what I had to say in my minority report. 👇
