because i commute via bus, i walk quite a bit every day just getting to and from work. but no. public transportation is dangerous and not worth investing in. we need a pull-up bar at the terminal for the 0-5 times a year most people fly instead.

Just thinking about actors learning other accents. Like what a brain bend. I lost my accent when I went to college, unintentionally, and I can't imagine learning multiple new accents and it not impacting your original accent

Like to me this is a fundamental thing about Ed. The bathtub scene reads really differently if you have had chronic, intense depression. "I don't have any friends" and this big reveal of trauma--like Good God is it nice to share stuff like that for the first time with someone
I think one of the hardest things about dealing with depression is not getting in a loop where your bad mood makes your loved ones worried and/or thrown into their own bad mood, especially when they also deal with depression. Like it's so hard to balance having a boundary and just clamming up

this is a stizzy AU but izzy didn't send the all staff email, he just told zheng he was making candles and buying lots of jars at the thrift store in the break room and stede overheard. meanwhile izzy is like. "why am i now responsible for a former rao's pasta sauce jar"
i sent my coworkers an all staff email before our last meeting that if they wanted to get rid of glass jars to give them to me for candles. now, almost every time i get to work, there's a glass jar hanging out in front of my door ><

I just realized it's close to my two year sobriety anniversary. It's kind of wild to look back on. I lost a lot of friendships for a variety of reasons and had to take a really honest look at my own mental health. I am amazed I got through tenure packet stuff sober. It is a reminder I *can* change
