I don't know if another manager comes in and does notably better with this group of players right now. They are in a bad place psychologically and desperation has crept in. They have no confidence that they're going to score, and they look petrified that the opposition will every time they attack.

The way I see it, a lot of people want the manager sacked because it's the one big red button you can press at this stage of the season. There's no other big call you can make that might have an immediate impact. But that's not the right reason to make the change

As I overheard one fan saying when I left the stadium, this is getting worse. Even those fortunate late-goal wins at the start of the season feel a world away now

This Man Utd performance is one of the sloppiest you'll ever see - countless basic mistakes

Lewis Hamilton's weekend was painful to watch. Basic error in qualifying puts him 20th, stuck behind a Haas for 20 laps. Maybe damage played a part in the awful second stint, but his demeanour said it all. He's no longer one of F1's top-tier drivers

👇 Beating this Liverpool team is not a badge of honour. Put Arsenal's name on the trophy
This is a good result for Arsenal. There are too many red flags in City's losses for me to think they can win it. Liverpool's emphasis will be shifting towards the UCL before long

I really don't like this rule that anything goes after a shot is taken. That's a blatant foul anywhere else on the pitch.
November 22, 2025 at 5:50 PM
Liverpool taking until about the 78th minute to have a 2nd half SOT in that scenario is pretty horrendous - even then it was a hit and hope
November 22, 2025 at 4:59 PM
Those two games against Villa and Real felt like a real instigator for Liverpool. To then end up here two games later...
November 22, 2025 at 4:57 PM
Liverpool's season has been so bad that I find it hard to pin the blame on one factor. It doesn't feel remotely as simple as the manager getting it wrong
November 22, 2025 at 4:52 PM
It's unbelievable that Liverpool are losing all these games. Even the mediocre sides between 2010-15 would be picking up unwanted draws in these games. Losing six out of seven games with these players is so difficult it's almost impressive

It's time to invest in other hobbies
November 22, 2025 at 4:44 PM
That's an unacceptable result for Liverpool. Can't just be treated as another defeat.
November 22, 2025 at 4:42 PM
Liverpool were actually good for most of that half - got into some brilliant positions but everything was blocked. Then a counterattack they should deal with and a set piece goal. Inconsistent refereeing but painfully predictable.

Still can't believe that F1 runs Las Vegas and Qatar back-to-back. There's been some progress with the calendar but there are still some glaring issues. It's a 19-hour flight 😭

I still think the Bucks have made a good start, but winning last night would have made it a great one. Tough loss
November 10, 2025 at 6:34 PM
Clearly a bad performance, but I think Slot will tell the players there's an element of bad luck. Penalty melee aside, I can't recall them conceding a big chance. Ricochet, deflection, worldie for the goals. Deserved to lose, but not by this margin

Konate lacks the judgement/composure to be one of the very best CBs. He's probably an 8/10 but makes too many mistakes to be rated any higher.
November 9, 2025 at 5:25 PM
Gary Neville is so dramatic. Liverpool haven't been as assertive as I expected but it's City away and they should have been level before conceding a deflected goal

Conor Bradley.

Atmosphere inside Anfield was brilliant tonight. From the start I got the sense that the crowd weren't going to let the team lose. Supporters are far more impactful when you're struggling than when you're winning
November 1, 2025 at 11:35 PM
I oddly enjoyed Mac Allister's scrap with Onana. Liverpool had an edge about them in that game that's been missing for too much of the season
November 1, 2025 at 11:33 PM
That should be the starting XI for the moment. I'd ideally like more signings in there, but it's no coincidence Liverpool looked better with 10 of their title winners + their best performing addition
November 1, 2025 at 11:32 PM
In addition to the systemic issues, Liverpool have had several players out of form. But that was by far the best Salah has looked in general play and also an improvement from Mac Allister
