Why is this demo 1.4 GIGABYTES?!
February 23, 2025 at 10:10 PM
That's a bummer, but I for one am eagerly awaiting what you've still got cooking!

Well...
2025 still has a few months left, doesn't it?

You gotta watch out! If you continue giving us more clips evey day, by the time the game comes out there's nothing new left to buy - it'll be donationware!
(Not that we'd not still get it, but- :eyes: )

Yes, wonderful! Can't wait to get to hear them!
December 29, 2024 at 11:41 PM
Will we get to hear some samples of these character voices soon?
December 29, 2024 at 11:21 PM
Interesting...
Because I recently bought and played (and thorougly enjoyed) it, but I immediately thought of Demon Tides when I saw the water traversal, _especially_ with this clip now

Quick question: Do you know the game Wavetale? And if so, was any part of Tides inspired by it?
December 21, 2024 at 12:19 AM
Oh, haha, that's great! I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did.

Very true! Though to be fair, the whole game just doesn't take itself seriously.
Like, there's an equippable upgrade that just adds in a narrator that spouts quippy one-liners when you do... anything really. But because it's an equippable, using it actively locks you out of an actual upgrade for now
December 5, 2024 at 10:28 AM
Well, close enough
December 5, 2024 at 10:21 AM
Ooh, that reminded me of Sunset Overdrive, where they actually had an in-universe explanation for invisible walls!
Big corporation doesn't want you to leave the town, so they traced the whole thing with giant sci-fi walls that are invisible, but display "Fizz-Co Invisible Wall TM" when you get near.

Well, I just like those kinds of 'weird puzzle games' a lot, like Portal, Antichamber or Manifold Garden, so Monument Valley's Esher puzzles immediately caught my attention. And since both games are just about two-three hours long, I really enjoyed my time with both of them, while it lasted.

I see - so you mean these little Crow buddies.
I can't quite remember an actual fail state, except if you got stuck in a dead end through a crow, but I personally just found those guys quite fun and silly.
December 2, 2024 at 9:16 AM
Kinda tangential, but you _hated_ monument valley? I'm really interested in your reasoning, if you want to tell.
