there was a short lived TV series in the 70s or 80s where a guy had his ow reusable rocket and he would salvage space junk. I think he also towed an ice berg to solve a water crisis. Maybe there is a business idea here, I mean how hard can it be to build a rocket right?

yeah that was my question too. Seems odd to have non citizens not be allowed to vote but be allowed to guide the party.

how about no subsidies at all. A business can stand on its own or not that's capitalism baby. profits and benefits leave and we are left with all the risks. If your emerging industry can't hold it's own then is sinks.

if the recalls are successful, I believe it leads to a by-election correct? The UCP may just toss someone new in and win like last time. I love this, the recalls are important and need to be done. However, I don't think we will see any new NDP elected.

Then you need serious regulations supporting tenants & preventing gouging and unfair evictions & good processes to support landlords to manage actual problem tenants. Capitalism w/o regulations is a terrible thing to have.

To lower rents you need coipition, but some of that competition needs to come from public and non profit housing. some needs to be subsidized, some needs to be supportive, but some needs to be low cost with no means testing, just below market.

It is! had a presentation years ago by some folks who worked in elder care up there. They told has that they had building across from each other, but had high taxi costs. We were all confused until they explained the polar bears!
