We leave the radio on for the cats when we're out so when we came home from errands I just left it on. I sat down on the couch, the signal started coming in crystal fucking clear (rare) and the station Is doing Friday Night 90s. I swear to god it's like I got into a time machine.

I don't want to be a traitor to my own city but Hallmark's Touchdown Holiday: A Bills Love Story is a much better movie than the Chiefs one last year. More clever jokes and a better overall story. Plus it stars Holland Roden who was in one of my favorite horror movies of 2023 (Mother, May I)!

I'm still sad about not eating potatoes today. If I had any in the house I would have made them when I got home. I truly didn't know I felt this strongly about the humble pomme de terre.

Of course, tis the season anyway, but returning to remote work has really brought back my enthusiasm for cooking. I was dreading dinner most nights and now I might get some new recipes into the rotation!

You know, they say that businesses are pushing AI so that they can employ less humans but my whole job now is going through client lists that were categorized by AI and fixing all of the mistakes...a task that would require exactly as much labor if a human had just done the initial categorizing

As a "congratulations for making it 30 days" apparently the new job is sending me some gifts from Amazon. 2 coming Friday and 4 coming Monday. My mind boggles! What on earth could these 6 gifts from people who don't know me at all be??

A whole week of away from home vacation with no tummy trouble is pretty much unheard of for me. Apparently the trade off was that I barely slept. I'll take it because I can handle being tired better than other things but why must it always be something?

Please universe, never put me in a job where I "need to get a little work done on the plane " In flight time should be free time to let your mind wander and what not. What if the plane crashed and the last thing you did was circle back on that deliverable when you could have been daydreaming??

Right outside our Palm Springs hotel room door there are grapefruit trees. You can choose between pink and white and you're allowed to just pick them. This is heaven.
