If TNA actually used that partnership to fix their finances & get back on TV without actually getting bought out, then the WWE played themselves pretty badly.

If they didn’t succeed in purchasing TNA outright, then the agreement is unhelpful because it’s more wrestling competing for the same eyeballs. Moreover, WWE always wants to portray itself as the ONLY pro-wrestling.
