We already got separated once bc of immigration issues, for a year and a half during the Biden administration. Even tho we were married. They wouldn't let her into the US. Imagine that. So this was not fear based on nothing, but fear based on *everything.* Our immigration system is the worst.

Didn't help that until literally today she had an H1-B, the exact visa that has been relentlessly attacked by all levels of government recently. Felt like a target on our backs.
