How to replace an app icon on MacOS:
1. Open info panel by right selecting the app and hitting cmd+i
2. Drag the new icon file into the small icon on the top left of the icon panel
3. Restart the app (and maybe Finder) to see the new icon

+1 to Obsidian tasks! I used to have a very complex setup that I ditched and now just keep weekly tasks on the same note for the entire year.
Still properly tagged per project/initiative and done dates (added automatically by the plugin) so I can easily query them later.
