His natural voice and cadence always makes him sound like hes being funny, which often undercuts him when hes being serious. But he does a good job over coming that here. Really good pacing and punctuation. Perfect "post match" energy.

Seeing reports that TK came out dressed as a spooky ghost to scare the fans into not leaking spoilers SMH

Hes just weird. He always weird. He has the most off beat, idiosyncratic delivery every time he does a promo. He comes off like hes maybe being sarcastic every time.

He has it in him to steal the spotlight of this entire tournament, but it seems like good chemistry is somewhat rare and unpredictable between AEW and CMLL guys. Really cant wait to see how he does, particularly against Mox.

Zando, Angel De Oro, Titan, Atlantis Jr, Xelhua, one of the Villanos or Akuma if they're feeling wild. Im really hoping part of the goal of this title is big crossover singles matches with CMLL guys.

Thats actually a really good look! Solid character design. Orange and white is under utilized in wrestling

Really interested to see how your opinion of the main event develops as you see more of it. (Some variation of sky team vs guerreros)

Ive watched the last 10 months of cmll, and I really liked the matchup the first 4 times I saw it, but my god, im so sick of it now. Very little variance each time

The idea of thinking non violent resistance in the face of real, personally violence and danger is cowardly is quite ridiculous.

Especially when compared to framing the celebration of political assassinations and fomenting civil war on social media as some kind of act of bravery and justice

Well thats unfortunate and wrong, because Gandhis non violent resistance successfully led Indias escape from British rule and occupation.

Some of them certainly did vote for this and love what's happening. But where we disagree is how many of them.

Trump also ran on misinformation and fear mongering and I think those things were very effective. I actually KNOW they were from personal experience talking to people that voted for him

I think there is still democratic recourse to fix alot of this. By all means, yes, resist, subvert, protest. But "kill them/celebrate them being killed?" No, I personally dont think so.

To use the popular method of exaggerated historical comparison, was Gandhi a centrist coward?
October 8, 2025 at 11:37 AM
I think there is a lot of context and specificity in the phrases "group" "actively killing other people" needed to answer that question.

I dont think we are at "fuck it, civil war! Lets kill them!" just yet. I think a lot of people that voted for this were duped and dont want Gestapo kidnapping.

Cool exaggerated made up straw man sentence. That's not what anyone said. Why use quotes as if it is?

But still, I disagree. Difficult empathy is important and valuable. Not just empathy for people you agree with or people you think deserve it. We are not at civil war yet. Discourse is important.
October 8, 2025 at 11:15 AM
The Social Media Militants disagree. "rest in piss" posting and preparing for civil war are the only answer, I guess.

staggering to me that discourse and empathy are being framed as cowardly and centrist pretty much universally on this platform. Never felt more out of sync with the lib majority.
